Owners Russell and Nora, a husband-and-wife duo, have spent the past few years traveling with their kids and gaining insight on what makes a play cafe great. With their experiences in mind, they set out to create something unique and special. They aimed to make Sea Stars Play Cafe more than just an indoor playground, but rather a place where families can come together and make lasting memories. The goal is to provide a safe and fun environment where families can connect, play and make genuine memories together. The activities and amenities offered have been carefully curated to facilitate and strengthen the connection between families and friends.
Russell and Nora recognise, as parents themselves, that being a parent can be challenging, which is “why we place a strong emphasis on support systems like playgroups and giving people a place to bring their kids for playdates”. With that in mind, Sea Stars will look to support and rollout community-driven initiatives like Dad Mode’s ‘Dad’s Group’, as well as launching our own Playgroup structure for any parents who are looking to get out of the house and connect with the world around them. “We want to create a safe and supportive environment for parents, where they can connect with others who understand the ups and downs of parenthood.”
